The Jubilee Dinner

The Jubilee Dinner...... Red, White & Blue!!

In the spirit of embracing Joie de Vivre, we outsourced dinner for Sunday night to the experts, welcoming Chef to Mas la Monaque to cater for the Jubilee Dinner and Fathers Day celebrations.
It was an absolute treat, we were very spoilt, with Chef selecting a range of local wines to accompany our french dining delights - local olive tapenade to accompany Kir Royale cocktails with an entree of fresh Caprese Salad.  Dinner was mouthwatering Taragon Chicken with roasted local provencale vegetables, and followed by a celebratory chocolate gateau and cheese platters for dessert - mmmmm........ yummy!!!!

Everyone make a great effort to embrace the theme of Red, White and Blue (French, Canadian and Australian colours).

(PS - very thrilled to have my darlin' Jon travelling with me - he always make the good times even better).

So..... here's cheers to a very happy Fathers Day, to all the Dad's, but especially the very special ones who are travelling with us on this adventure - Cliff, Geoff and Dan.

..... and also a delightful dinner for Her Joyceness in celebrating her 80th birthday.
